The JobPro Directory is a division of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada-based DataCentrik Solutions, a software development firm founded in 2001 to solve business problems by creating useful, intuitive, highly usable, maintainable web and desktop applications built on comprehensive planning and the application of user-centered design best practices.
Company clients include IBM, the British Columbia Ministry of Health, the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), Simon Fraser University and the University of British Columbia (UBC). By 2006 our focus narrowed to doing what we do best: publishing the best employers directory and job application toolkit for proactive job seekers selectively targeting companies in British Columbia.

Over the last year many customers have asked us how a small directory publisher in Vancouver can make the best industry/company/contact research and self-marketing software. The short answer is that no other publisher works the way we do. Instead of using ordinary software developers having no career development/job search assistance provider training and experience, we use a multi-disciplinary team of resource developers trained in providing job search assistance.
Instead of publishing listings for tens of thousands of employers, we focus on a smaller, manageable number. Instead of listing only the bare minimum of company, contact and industry information, we concentrate on collecting and publishing useful, accurate information in cooperation with the businesses, schools and other non-profit organizations listed. That is, we aim for quality over quantity.
As I see it, that’s the only way we can best meet the needs of job search/career development assistance providers and individual job seekers. That’s why I say no other resource can help your clients as much to find better employment faster.
