Denise Goldbeck is a Registered Clinical Counselor with a Masters in Developmental Psychology. She has a Bachelors of Arts from Simon Fraser University and currently a candidate for a Doctorate of Philosophy in Experimental Developmental.
She has over 30 years combined experience in teaching adults and children, counselling individuals of all backgrounds, and consulting other educators and therapists. She has a breadth of university level teaching experience and developing educational programs centered around self-awareness, listening and communication, psychotherapy, and human development. Specific courses she has instructed include Adolescent Development, Moral Development, and Development of Children's Thinking.
Denise became interested in child development while working with children in the performing arts. Over the last 22 years she has created a method using theatre, dance and music to help children understand their own development.
She is the creator of "Kids in the Spotlight" (KITS), a program in its 22nd year at The Haven Institue. She has also developed a "Youth Intern Program" under KITS and "Window To Your Child" for parents with children in the KITS program. She is leading a new program called "Personal Parenting" which debuts this April 15 to 17, 2011 at The Haven Institute.
Denise is a happily married mother of two children. While managing her household and facilitating her current Family Programs mentioned, she also runs her own private counselling practice in Vancouver, BC. She is registered with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.

Dick Vollet has 20 years experience as an executive in Vancouver, most recently as Vice President, Mountain Operations with the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Committee. Prior to this, he spent more than 20 years in a variety of executive roles with a focus on operational execution, recruitment and development, organizational expansion or growth, and strategic implementation.
He has served as a member of the Board of Governors with the BC Children's Hospital Foundation and Junior Achievement, has served on the Board of Advisors to Ronald McDonald House and volunteers with the St. Vincent De Paul Society.
Streetohome Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of Dick Vollet as its new CEO. Dick brings with him a wealth of experience, most recently from VANOC, where he held the positions of Vice President of Mountain Operations, and Vice President of Workforce.
Dick has a strong background in both the private and charitable sectors, through a number of senior positions with the HY Louie Group of Companies (including London Drugs and Sonora Resort), as Chair of the BC Children's Hospital Miracle Weekend, and as a member of the Board of Advisors to Ronald McDonald House.
His background and experience will bring strong leadership to Streetohome Foundation for our capital campaign, strategic planning and ongoing operations.
