Principal Robert Simpson is a senior engineer with 26 years of structural design and development experience including analysis of project scope of work, design concept, design development, RFP documents, pre-tender construction cost estimate and project schedule, proposal evaluation, design in reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, masonry, structural steel, woodframe, and heavy timber. He has played a pivotal role in the innovative and effective structural design solutions that have built Glotman•Simpson's reputation.
Mr Simpson was the structural designer for Electronic Arts (Canada) Inc's Canadian headquarters, which received the 1999 Consulting Engineers of British Columbia Award of Excellence for Structural Engineering and a 1999 Award of Merit for Buildings and Structures from the Association of Consulting Engineers of Canada and Canadian Consulting Engineer magazine.
Mr Simpson has extensive experience in Earthquake Preparedness and Design and has published several articles on earthquakes in many local publications. In February 1995, he traveled to California to study the effect of the devastating earthquake on Northridge and to learn how an earthquake would affect Vancouver. He is the coauthor of a preliminary report on the Northridge Earthquake that was published in the Canadian Association for Earthquake Engineering. He also coauthored the report Damage to Concrete Structures Due to the 1994 Northridge Earthquake, which was published in the Journal of the Canadian Society of Civil Engineers.

John Livingston has served as Absolute's Chairman and CEO since 1995, growing the company from its infancy to 85 employees in 2003. Absolute invented the computer tracking and loss control product category with the introduction of "Computrace" in 1994.

September 4, 2007 - Absolute Software announced today that Kevin Shabow will be joining its executive team effective September 4, 2007, as Vice President, North America Sales.
Shabow leaves a position as National Director of Sales at Gateway where he managed Gateway's Professional Sales, a department generating approximately $1.0 billion in annual revenue.
At Gateway, he was responsible for implementing and driving the new sales strategy leading to Gateway's return to profitability. Previously, Shabow led Gateway's Public Sector sales with wins at Los Angeles Unified School District, School District of Philadelphia, The State of New York and The State of California.
"Kevin Shabow is a proven executive who will be instrumental in our efforts to continue growing our presence in North America," said John Livingston.

Ron is the Chief Chemist, Agri-Food Laboratory Services for SGS Canada Inc., an international company based in Geneva. SGS SA is the world's leading verification, testing and certification company.
Ron first joined SGS in 1994 as a Lab Chemist in the Petroleum Sector in SGS Houston.
He then moved to SGS Corpus Christi as a Lab Supervisor and worked there until 1999. In 2000, he moved to SGS Agri Food laboratory as a Lab Chemist and was shortly promoted as Chief Chemist. Ron has a good working knowledge of all the instruments in a laboratory and has learned the food chemistry through working experience.
