March 14, 2007 - Galdos announced today that they have recruited Mr. Bill Macdonald to head up the company's engineering and product development group. Mr. Macdonald brings over thirty years of leadership and technical experience to his role.

Prior to joining Galdos, Bill held management positions at numerous Vancouver-based technology companies, including Macdonald Dettwiler and /Offshore Systems Ltd./OSI Geospatial Ltd. Most recently, Mr. Macdonald was Director of Operations for their Offshore Systems business unit that supplied navigation and charting systems to international navies and major shipping organizations. There, he was responsible for project management, system engineering, production and service.

Ian Gill is president of Ecotrust Canada (Vancouver, B.C.) and a director of Ecotrust (Portland, Ore.), related non-profit organizations that promote the emergence of a conservation economy in the coastal temperate rainforests of North America.

Prior to founding Ecotrust Canada in November 1994, Ian was a writer-broadcaster with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. In his seven years as a television reporter with the CBC, Ian specialized in land-use, environment and resource issues. His television documentaries won numerous local and international awards. Ian also spent seven years as a senior reporter and editor with the Vancouver Sun. He is a fellow of Journalistes en Europe (1986-87).

Ian is a director of the Na na kila Institute and the Vancity Credit Union, and a member of the advisory board of the Cascadia Times newspaper and the Forestry Advisory Council at the University of B.C.

He is a professional engineer with over 6 years of experience as a geological engineering consultant and 5 years of small business management experience in the area of GIS and database application development.

Mr. Leir's responsibilities at BGC include project management, needs assessment, and computer application design and testing. He specialises in applications for monitoring and risk management of geohazards including landslide, subsidence, and liquefaction and seismic risk assessment.

Mr. Lasmarias is the company's Director of Technology with responsibility for leading the research and technology development efforts for the company, including location and wireless technology components.

Dr. Kim Rossmo developed the concept of geographic profiling as part of his doctoral research at Simon Fraser University in the early 1990s while a serving police officer in Vancouver.

Mr. Goehring has served as Contigo's Vice President of Product Management and Marketing since the company's founding in 2002 (then known as Guardian Mobile Monitoring Systems). His primary focus is on creating the product vision, managing the product development process, and creating and implementing marketing strategies for the company.

Prior to co-founding Contigo, Mr. Goehring was the Vice President of Product Management at webBASIS Inc. in California, a venture-backed, web-based communications application service provider with an estimated 15 million subscribers. While at webBASIS, Mr. Goehring was responsible for all aspects of the product, from conception to launch, and created the product strategy for the company's flagship unified communications product. Mr. Goehring was also responsible for overseeing the development effort for over 50 software engineers across 3 cities.

Mr. Goehring holds a Bachelors Degree of Business Administration in Marketing and an M.B.A. from Simon Fraser University in Management Information Systems and Marketing. He is the co-inventor of patent applications submitted recently for Contigo's mobile monitoring system architecture.
