Jim Shepherd was named the President and Chief Executive Officer of Canfor Corporation in 2004 following Canfor's acquisition of Slocan Forest Products Ltd.
At the time of the acquisition he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Slocan and prior to his appointment as CEO of Slocan he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Crestbrook Forest Industries Ltd. and President of Finlay Forest Industries Limited.

Bob joined CellFor at the end of 2004 and heads up our breeding and product development efforts. Bob was Associate Professor of Forestry and Director of the North Carolina State University - Industry Cooperative Tree Improvement Program for nearly 24 years until he retired in 2001.
In that capacity, he directed the graduate programs of over 30 MS and Ph.D. students and managed the activities of the largest breeding Cooperative in the Southeast USA. The NCSU Breeding Cooperative members worked in cooperation to improve the productivity of pine plantations and were responsible for planting more than 40% of the tree seedlings in the US annually.

Brian Robinson joined the association in late 2006. Brian leads the planning and organization of the association's professional development activities, including the continuing competency program, policy review seminars, fall workshops and ExpoFor - the association's annual conference. Brian is also responsible for the association's member relations.
Brian has been practising forestry for the last 26 years. Before joining the ABCFP, he was the Kamloops branch manager of Industrial Forestry Service Ltd. Sharon Glover joined the ABCFP in early 2007. In her role as executive director, Sharon is accountable to council for ensuring the association fulfills its mandate under the Foresters Act and fulfills its strategic goals.
One of Sharon's primary goals is to ensure that the government looks to the association and forest professionals first when they are creating or changing forest policy.
Sharon brings an extensive background in association management, advocacy, government relations and communications. Sharon has also owned and operated her own consulting company and held senior positions with provincial and national associations.
She holds a BA (Hons.) from the University of Toronto in political science and economics, and an MBA (Finance) from Queen's University.

Before joining CellFor, Tom worked with the investment bank, Goldman, Sachs & Co. in its mergers and acquisitions department and then spent 14 years in the agricultural seed business with Pioneer Hi-Bred International and subsequently with E.I.
