Terry Hayashi grew up in Calgary, Alberta. A workaholic from the beginning, he began his hospitality career by serving Calgary's business crowd at restaurants during the day and bartending at night in various pubs and bars along the infamous ‘Electric Avenue'.
Eventually landing a management role at a local steakhouse, Terry found his true passion. “Managing a restaurant is similar to conducting an orchestra, dozens of smaller parts blending together to hopefully create something truly memorable". With a family background in hospitality, Kambolis had a vision of transforming the Canadian restaurant industry and in less than a decade, created three restaurants - Raincity Grill, C Restaurant and Nu - that have earned critical acclaim nationwide, including a national award for Best Restaurant in Canada.

Scott Ward supervises the day to day operations of the Browns Restaurant Group's corporate locations which includes our training and test location, Cats Socialhouse on Granville Island. Developing and maintaining seamless relationships with our franchise community is also integral to his role.
Scott is able to act as both the corporate voice and the franchise voice to all parties including our respective investment groups, operations and corporate team. Maintaining, researching and evolving our service standards, cost control systems and execution practices are an ongoing function of Scott's role.
His mandate is to ensure the integrity of the brand at all times and to ensure that it evolves where opportunities present themselves. Scott also oversees the beverage program for the Browns Restaurant Group, including the innovative cocktail program, wine list, beer portfolio and non-alcoholic selection. Scott is a 29 year restaurant veteran, having started his full-time management career at 19 years of age.
His resume includes an 18 year career with the well known national chain, Milestones. Scott was part of the growth of Milestones from 1 unit to 36, operating first as a General Manager, then as Director of Operations, and his final 12 years as a multi-unit partner in 3 Canadian markets (BC, Ontario, Alberta) where he supported all operational, start-up and conceptual strategies. Later, he was a became partner in the Vancouver based franchise restaurant, Romano's Macaroni Grill, part of Brinker International Ltd. from Dallas, Texas.
Some of Scott's other roles have included, Director of Operations for The Boathouse Restaurants, Director of Operations for the Red Door Pan-Asian Grill, and an 8 year career start with a small regional chain out of Ontario in the early eighties, The Old Fish Market Restaurants Ltd.
Scott has spent a lot of time travelling to major Canadian and US markets researching his trade and has enrolled in numerous courses at the Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena , California over the last 2 decades.

Keeping her roots in the business, Cassidy worked in numerous corporate and independent restaurants and bars while attending Simon Fraser University. Bruce Fox oversees the corporate team and directs the development of the Browns Restaurant Group with respect to franchise management and our expansion goals. Bringing over 35 years of restaurant and franchise experience to the table, most of it with well known, branded chain operations, Bruce is an integral member of the Browns Restaurant Group. His mandate is to introduce the strategies and management disciplines required to transition the company into franchise development mode, and to fine tune the operating systems, ready for expansion. Bruce operates a franchise development consulting practice whereby he engages with expansion minded clients.
He has acted as Chief Operating Officer for a number of clients including Red Robin Restaurants of Canada, Good Earth Cafes and OPA! Souvlaki. He was Operating Partner (managing the Consulting Services Division) at Franworks Development Corp. prior to these engagements.
From 1998 to 2001 Bruce was the President of Smitty's Canada Limited. There he was charged with the responsibility of revitalizing the 100 plus franchises in the 40 year old chain. Prior to this, as Vice President of Foodservice Operations at Boston Pizza International, he was responsible for the overall development and direction of the company's franchise and operations system for over 16 years.
His managerial qualifications include graduation from the University of Guelph's AMPHI Program (Advanced Management Program for the Hospitality Industry) and he holds a CFM (Certified Foodservice Manager) designation. He has served three terms on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Restaurant & Foodservices Association, during which time he chaired virtually every operating committee and sat on the association's Executive body as well as the Strategic Planning team.

A self taught chef, Brian has worked in the industry for 25 years. From the early age of fifteen when he was working as a dishwasher, Brian knew that the kitchen was his home. Previous to joining the Browns Socialhouse Team, Brian served as Executive Chef for an emerging Casual Italian Dining restaurant Coza! Tuscan Grill.
Prior to that, Brian acted as Regional Executive Chef for Milestones Restaurants in B.C. and Alberta for many years. He has also been a Kitchen Leader for Earl's restaurants. While with Milestone's Brian opened 18 new restaurants, and played a key role in their kitchen leadership development, product development and kitchen systems development. Brian has an Ingredients and Flavour Dynamics certificate from C.I.A Greystone in Napa Valley.
Currently living in Ladner, BC, Brian has access to fresh local ingredients and small artesian producers around every country road. When he is not in the kitchen Brian can be found with his kids in his backyard herb garden, which boasts 26 varieties of fresh culinary herbs and edible flowers (at last count).

Chad got his start in 1990, training under the direction of Chef Donald Phillips. After numerous apprenticeships and graduating from Vancouver Community College's Culinary Arts Program, Chad's passion for the industry shifted focus.
He has since helped open and establish a thriving clientele in a 60-seat fine dining restaurant; assisted in the opening of a 160-seat pub from the ground up; and has been the general manager of a 200-seat beachfront restaurant. Warren Erhart was elected Chairman of the Board of the Canadian Restaurant and Foodservices Association (CRFA) at the association's Annual Meeting on March 7, 2011.
Warren is the President and CEO of Vancouver-based White Spot Hospitality, which consists of two iconic West Coast brands: the White Spot casual dining chain, and the Triple O's quick-service chain, featuring the famous Triple O burger.
A graduate of the Hotel and Restaurant Management program at Vancouver Island University, Warren has devoted his entire career to the restaurant industry, starting with a part-time job at McDonald's when he was in high school, and then working his way through the ranks at the Keg. He joined White Spot in 1990 as division general manager and four years later became president.
Warren was inducted into B.C.'s Restaurant Hall of Fame in 2010 and presented with the Distinguished Alumni Award from Vancouver Island University that same year.
A strong believer in giving back, Warren is dedicated to making White Spot the best place it can be for his staff and guests. White Spot is proud to give back to the community and supports many different children's charities, including Variety, a children's charity for children with special needs, Zajac Ranch and KidSport.
