For over 25 years, Tanya has forged new paths in the evolution of e-Learning. A literacy pioneer and Youth Employment Skills Canada coordinator in the 1980's, she became a founding principal and Regional Director for Western Canada for Pathfinder Learning Systems. Through this work, she inspired the early adoption of learning technologies in poorly funded urban education programs and remote and indigenous communities.
In 1999, Tanya co-founded Odyssey Learning Systems with a vision of empowering learners to maximize their potential, regardless of who they are, how they learn, where they are, what language they speak. As an Industry leader and President and CEO of Odyssey, she seeks out strategic partnership, creates innovative business models and leads with strong vision and business acumen.
* Founder, Candian eLearning Alliance (CeLEA)
* Past Chair and Founder, eLearning BC
* Past Chair and Founder, Lions Gate Learning Alliance
* Founder, Literacy BC
Through Odyssey, Ms Northcott vision is to empower learners to maximize their potential, regardless of who they are, how they learn, where they are, and what language they speak.
An industry leader, Ms. Northcott continues to push the envelope in redefining elearning. She works hard to promote corporate collaboration with public and private sector e-learning alliances, such as CeLEA, the Canadian eLearning Alliance, of which she is a founding member and eLearning BC (eLBC), a 56 member private and public sector eLearning marketing alliance, which she Chairs.
Determined to try a bold new business model, Ms. Northcott co-founded Lions Gate Learning Alliance, as an incorporated company, in 2004. This flexible vehicle, comprised of private companies and public sector institutions, bids on for-profit and not-for-profit projects in Canada, Mexico, Chile and Peru.
Alliance members provide comprehensive and integrated technology enhanced learning solutions - and bid on contracts far larger than they can individually. Lions Gate is focused on national and international projects that involve learning for social benefit and sustainability.

Jacqueline Saleem is a former high school English and Social Studies teacher who put her teaching career on hold last year to pursue her Masters in English Literature at the University of British Columbia. In the course of her job and studies, Jacqueline has gotten very good at ferreting out and collecting bits of revealing and pertinent information from many sources and in a variety of mediums. This has translated well into her position as a consulting research associate with Cardea Health Consulting.
Working with Cardea allows her to marry her professional skills to her passion for healthy living. Already a vegetarian and an avid runner, Jacqueline has recently taken up yoga as a way to stay fit and focused; however, she allots most of the credit for her good health to her greyhound and Jack Russell terrier who never ever accept “I'm too busy" as an excuse.
