Tina Strehlke Tina has over 9 years of experience in the Career Development field. She has worked as a Career Practitioner and Program Manager and is currently the Director of Communications for Training Innovations.
Tina recently completed a Master's in Professional Communications at Royal Roads University. The focus of her research was exploring how social network sites like Facebook and LinkedIn are changing the job search experience for individuals.
As part of her studies she identified practical strategies to help practitioners update their counselling approach and engage clients in conversation about privacy issues, negotiating public/private boundaries on the Web, self-presentation, and applying networking best practices to social networking sites.

Tannis Goddard is the President of Training Innovations and has an academic and practical background in career development, adult and e-learning and has been involved in online learning for 10 years and has delivered local career management services with Service Canada and the Province of BC for 14 years.
Tannis Goddard was nominated to join the ENET Society Board of Directors in August, 2007 to represent ENET at the Labour Market Development Agreement (LMDA) Alliance and act as National and International Liaison for ENET.
Tannis is committed to helping the organization form a strong voice for career practitioner professional development over the coming year as BC's certification process is implemented.
In 2006 Tannis shared her knowledge about Online Career Counselling at NATCON & the International Career Development Conference in California. In 2007 Tannis spoke at the Australia Association of Career Counsellors' Conference and the NCDA Conference in Seattle.
She also led a team in the creation of Tii's own learning management system and also launched Career e-Volutions in 2004 - which is reputed to be the first such funded, online EAS program in Canada. This year Training Innovations' online counselling expertise was recognized with the Best of the Best award at Shifting Directions.
Tannis is the Founder and President of BC-based Training Innovations (Tii), a career management organization since 1992 that delivers services to
thousands of individuals each year.
Tannis has experience designing and delivering large scale programming for provincial and federal governments, non-profit associations and organizations. Tannis has spent the last seven years studying and researching the impact of delivering facilitated career counselling to groups and individuals through an online environment.
This research evolved into a pilot program to deliver the first ever online EAS career exploration and job search preparation program in Canada in 2004.

Christian Saint Cyr wrote for the BC Labour Market Report since its inception to make job search and labour market information both interesting and fun. Saint Cyr established himself as an authority on BC job searching and has conducted extensive training for both career professionals and job seekers alike.
Saint Cyr also wrote a column on job search for the Chilliwack Progress Newspaper and delivered weekly job search segment on CKNW radio for two years. Saint Cyr's commentary on labour market activity was read each week by hundreds of career counsellors who used it to provide advice and guidance to their clientele.
The BC Labour Market Report was a subscription-based, hidden job market resource distributed to several hundred employment service providers (ESPs) throughout the province monthly.
In publication for six years, the BC Labour Market Report was created by two former employment counsellors who were frustrated by the lack of practical resources available for employment service providers and job seekers alike.
Passionate about the importance of finding meaningful employment and sympathetic to the plight of job seekers, Christian Saint Cyr together with Julia Medgyes launched the BC Labour Market Report (and its counterpart, the weekly Hot Sheet e- newsletter), in 1999 with the goal of informing ESPs and job seekers about positive economic activity in the province and giving them, sort of on a silver platter, potential job leads.
The BC Labour Market Report served the employment community well, holding workshops for hundreds of career and employment practitioners in all regions of BC on the subjects of understanding labour market information, unconventional job search and employment standards, as well as an annual review of BC's most important economic activity for the previous year.
