May 14, 2005 - Alistair Black, P.Eng., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, is pleased to announce the appointment of Kerry Rudd, P.Eng. as President of the Associated Engineering group of companies.
This promotion is part of our succession management plan. Vince Borch, P.Eng., retired as Chairman of the Board of Associated Engineering in May 2005, at which time Alistair became Chairman and CEO of Associated Engineering.

Ken brings over 25 years of experience in designing retrofits, new installations and software for building automation systems, as well as extensive knowledge in commercial, institutional and industrial energy audits.
From 1981 to 1997, Ken was the Manager of Controls Services at the University of Toronto where he used his expertise for the design and maintenance of control systems and in the project management for a 3.5 million sq. ft. building automation system expansion.
